Beyond diagnosis – Developing the professional toolkit for meeting the needs of sensory impairment profiles.
On August 28, BATOD NI in conjunction with NatSIP, Sense NI, RNIB NI and GuideDogs NI delivered a day full of workshops and keynote presentations at their first ever, Northern Ireland based, multi-agency conference for professionals working with children and young people with sensory impairment.
We are pleased to have Steve Rose (NatSIP associate) and Steph Halder (BATOD President) as the keynote speakers. There were 14 workshop options specific to multi-sensory impairment, vision impairment and deafness.
